F.C.M. Stands for the Fortieth-Century-Man. A concept birthed my Alex Higgins and Johnny Sandler in Chicago's Uptown in early 2005. The Idea of making one of a kind t-shirts from negatives of the tattoo design drawings that they work with everyday.

Here it is reaching the end of 2009 and the project is ready to take it’s first look at the world of the internet.

The unique printing process is Discharge chemical woven into the fibers of the vintage t-shirt.

There is no paint or ink on these shirts and they feel like they are from thirty years ago with their vintage cotton high quality stressed material.

We decided to go with the highest grade of t-shirt because we wanted t-shirts we could wear and feel comfortable in, we never liked when there was a big painted or stenciled area of most MASS PRODUCED t-shirts, they look ok but feel cumbersome, so we picked the highest grade t- shirt and ran with it and everyone that wears them is impressed with the feel of comfort.” ~~~Johnny Sandler

The F.C.M. team were lucky enough to catch the eye of some professional athletes and professional musicians that were very interested in having our t-shirts be a part of their everyday wardrobe.

“ I love the designs, and have full faith in Johnny’s artwork and visionary impulse, and being from California I know that I could wear these t-shirts and fit in anywhere and still stand out because of the originality of the designs.” ~~~Ryan Madson-- The Philadelphia Phillies.

“ I trust Johnny to imbed art into my skin and paint pictures for my walls, when I saw him wearing one of his t-shirts I said that is a bad ass t-shirt where did you get it? I wasn’t surprised when he said they were from his t-shirt company. So obviously I had to have one of every color and design. I wear these shirts with pride and support; F.C.M FUCKIN ROCKS!!” ~~~Brett Myers-- The Philadelphia Phillies.

“ I was the first to like the t-shirts, me and Johnny are the same height and weight and I saw that the shirts were aces on him and I said mate I need your t-shirts, and he said it’ll cost ya; but he tattooed my chest and they are mint designs and they feel good against my skin, Thank you Johnny and Alex, Cheers mates.” ~~~Travis Blackley-- The Arizona Diamondbacks.
